Foreward
In these times I feel “Love” is one of the most profound ways to express ourselves to our families and friends. This book is illustrated with much love and affection. For the architecture that graces our beautiful city and so lovingly have my many friends express themselves with their memories and reflections on what I have drawn. Their words truly are what have brought my illustrations full circle.
I than profusely my friends Ray Lane and Martha Emmons for their belief tin my illustrations and continually pushing me forward to bring the visuals and words together in such a beautiful presentation. Thanks and love also pours out to all my treasured and dear friends of Paducah for their “Love” of the arts. Most of all I thank my parents for their love and support during my formative years. Anytime you view my work you will find a “B” at the end of my signature. Ever since my mother’s death I have dedicated all my work to Ellen Louise Hill Ford, better known by her nickname ‘Babalou”.
